Delete your Kidiaro account

You can delete your account and the data we hold on our server at any time. Deleting the account does not export anything, so if you want a copy of the records, export them first (Settings > Data).

In the app

1. Open Kidiaro.
2. Go to Settings > Account > Delete account.
3. Choose Request account deletion.
4. Confirm with Delete my account.

What happens next

• You are signed out on this phone at once.
• Your account is deleted automatically after 7 days, and in any case within 30 days at the latest.
• Until then you can cancel. Open the app and choose Cancel deletion request on the first screen. Everything comes back.
• Records on your phone are hidden for 7 days and then erased. If you tick Also erase this phone now, they are erased at once. That cannot be undone, and the request can then no longer be cancelled.
• Photos are only on your phone. When the records are erased, the photos are deleted and cannot be brought back.
• We email you the date, and again when it is done.
• Data you delete is removed from our backups within 30 days.
• If you share with another parent, they keep the shared record and your name stays on the doses you logged. If you are the only parent, the family record is erased.
• Deleting your Kidiaro account does not cancel a subscription in the App Store or Google Play. Please cancel it there.

Cannot open the app?

Write to hello@kidiaro.app from the email address of the account. Tell us you want the account deleted. We answer within one month.
